Made of strong ductile iron and galvanized to prevent rust. These swing hangers feature an "oil-lite" bronze bearing and axle bolt. Threads into the frame with a nut for double protection and extra safety. Available in 2 3/8 inch and 3 1/2 inch sizes.
These shackles take the place of S-hooks and need the wrench, PG176P, to open and close. This head makes removal, because of vandalism, more difficult. The overall length is 3 5/16”. The bolts are 3/8” diameter. The inside of the smaller opening is ½” across and the larger opening is ¾”. Unlike S-hooks they can be used multiple times. They are also much easier to install then S-hooks and much stronger. Some cities and parks are requiring their use instead of S-hooks. Use with our swing hangers and chain. The shackle is 212 HBS and the bolt is 176 HBS. The hardness of the bolt in the long needle hardness HRC29 / short needle hardness HRC31. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile strength 6800 lbs.

5/16" Short Link Chain
The 5/16" chain has very short links to deter small children from putting their fingers in the links and injuring themselves if they fall off the swing. In Germany and the Netherlands this type of chain is required on playground equipment. National test lab results 5000 lb.. Sold per foot.
3/16″ Chain
Our 3/16″ Trivalent chain is zinc plate chain with trivalent coating that has a much improved resistance to salt spray. This chain meets all ASTM requirements. The coating has a consistent bright finish. This chain would be good in coastal areas. The chain is 4/0 Aught and Grade 30. The links are 1” long and the opening is ½” wide. Any of our S-hooks or Shackles will work with this chain. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile 3200 lbs.. Sold per foot.
Made to be mounted on tires to connect chains to the tire swivels. Each 3-piece set has an eye bolt, a 2 1/2" bottom washer and a lock tight nut.
