Improve Physical Fitness and Muscle Tone by Climbing Ropes
Climbing ropes have always been one of the most popular training aids to improve overall physical fitness and muscle tone, particularly for upper arms and shoulders. Climbing ropes are a popular choice to gain strength, grip, and arm coordination skills for wrestling, gymnastics, etc. Students can set personal goals and progress at their own skill level. Wolverine Sports is proud to offer our indoor gymnasium climbing ropes in 3 different choices of rope material for your program. Choose between our rope options;
Natural Manila Ropes: Traditional, superior quality, pure “Grade A” manila rope. Best manila in the industry. This natural fiber rope absorbs perspiration for the best grip and is extremely durable, very little splinters.
Poly Dacron Ropes: These ropes introduce an extremely soft rope material as well as having excellent moisture and UV resistance characteristics. Has an extremely strong and lightweight polypropylene core with a soft and durable polyester outside jacket layer similar to the feel of cotton.
Polypropylene "Unmanila" Ropes: Polypro ‘Unmanila’ ropes consist of a specially manufactured polypropylene material which looks like natural fiber ropes with superior strength and 2/3 the weight. Particularly popular on elementary level.
All Ropes are available with rest grips or knots. Secure your climbing rope with proper safety cables, hoists, links, and clamps for a safe, challenging workout.
When determining rope length, note that gymnastics rules state that climbing ropes without bottom knots should be long enough so that at least 42in of rope is on the floor. Regular Gymnasium Climbing ropes should hang 1ft above the floor.
Adult supervision and safety padding should be utilized at all times.

The Adjustable Beam Clamp is made of steel with 1/2-13 threaded rod for adjustment, secured and locked into position with serrated flange locknuts. The beam clamp is constructed of heavy gauge steel brackets with a 5/8” OD steel ring to easily connect climbing ropes or nets. Brackets supplied with a durable black powder coat finish.
These beam clamps are specifically designed to mount to horizontal beams and withstand vertical loading. These beams clamps are not intended for angled / sloped beams or with any equipment involving swinging. Please refer to the specific net or rope installation for the recommended number of clamps for each specific piece of Jammar equipment.
Climbing ropes and nets must be hung from structurally adequate framework which will exceed any load placed on the equipment. Most beams and ceiling framework in institutional buildings will meet this criteria, however, always confirm this with you architect, building plans, and / or structural engineering. Jammar is not responsible for the structural adequacy of the building structure.

Our gym & obstacle course style indoor/outdoor climbing ropes are fabricated using quality 1.5″ diameter 3-strand twisted poly Dacron rope. Our poly Dacron is chosen for its excellent moisture and UV resistance. One of the best gripping synthetic ropes and holds up well to abrasion. Each top has rope eye spliced and each bottom has a poly boot cover or braided back bottom to deter unraveling.
