Because the belt is not attaches the ceiling the student can do tricks down the mat with the teacher running beside them. A great tool to teach back-bend. spider walk, front limber, front walkover, front changing walkover, back walkover, back changing walkover, nip up, snap down back handspring, aerials and many others. You can also teach round-off back handspring with the belt. You can spot this with one spotter but two is better.
NOTE: These belts are not to be hung or attached to ceiling or above apparatus. Belts must be used with protective padding. All activities using these belts must be strictly controlled and supervised by qualified adult instructors. Belts are intended for floor spotting and low beginner beam spotting, not higher spotting. This vandal-proof swing seat features galvanized welded triangular hardware that makes it one of the sturdiest swing seats available. The dimensions of the seat are 24in x 6in x 5/16in or 30 1/4in hanger to hanger. It is made with 70 EPDM rubber with insert to resist vandalism. EPDM: Ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer is a synthetic rubber material which helps prevent crazing, cracking and oxidizing. Natural rubber is often made from recycled tires etc, and you are never sure what the actual rubber.

It also holds up well in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
The swing seat is equipped with galvanized steel triangles and steel plates that are riveted to the seat with galvanized rivets. The triangles are welded together for added strength and safety, and the plate is 1/16 inch thick and made of stamped galvanized steel. The seat insert is made of 1075 rounded edge steel, which is full hard, painted with a non-rusting adhesive, and coated with rubber that is ¼ inch to 3/8 inch thick. The edges of the insert are rounded to prevent injuries from sharp edges.

To connect the seat to the chain, you’ll need to use our large end H140 S-hook or H172 H-Shackle, both of which are compatible with our swing seats. The insert is covered with EPDM material, which helps withstand harsh weather conditions and fading.
